This research aims to define Portuguese positioning in the near shoring market for Information Technology and Business Processes Outsourcing. The TAVAAS methodology used throughout this work considers six factors, for which corresponding relative weights were assumed. A qualitative research methodology was conducted to identify the motivational drivers of companies whose transnational services are installed in Portugal. Its results challenged the initial assumption; therefore, they were re-applied to the framework. The deviation from the results achieved with the initial perceived weights was not significant; thus, the initial hypothesis was tested and its results accepted. As conclusion, the relative factor weights to consider when evaluating Portugal as a near shore destination for IT and BPO have been identified

Literature underlines that different factors can de-termine children’s “unjustified” rejection toward a parent in divorced families: parents’ psychological characteristics; children’s pre-existing vulnerability; dysfunctional family relationships and conflict management. Trough cross-sectional study, we paired two cohorts of 30 families undergoing legal separation: in the target group at least one child rejected a parent unreasonably. We used a set of test composed by: Rorschach’s test and MMPI-2, MCMI-II, CBCL 6-18, QUIT, SAS, Conflict Scale and LTP procedure. In the target group, we found specific personality characteristics for parents, dysfunctional conflict management and a lower family coordination (p<.05). These results have elucidate hypothesis useful to design effective interventions

Refering to Fivaz Depeursinge and collaborators research (Fivaz-Depeursinge, Lopes, Python and Favez, 2009), this study aim to operationalize "coparenting styles" corresponding to "interactive styles" of the child in a sample of 52 families. The second aim is to define different types of family coalitions. The families were observed through to the Lausanne Trilogue Play procedure (LTPc; Mazzoni and Malagoli Togliatti, 2006). The results show the usefulness of a systematic evaluation of the triangular configurations between mother, father and son, in order to help the clinician to identify the relational rigid patterns wich are characteristic of dysfunctional families and to differentiate functional interactive processes even in situations of complexity
